The script may need modifying for the correct device names and uses nircmd which needs downloading. The following script allows you to create a shortcut on the desktop that toggles between two devices. In any case, something like AHK would be required to bind it to a hotkey. You supply the same number in the list, which makes me think it's not much different from the AutoHotkey 'hack' here. There's apparently a program with a CLI to switch sound devices. Ideally, this could be done through the command line, by specifying the sound device's GUID. The reason I call this a 'hack' is the script actually opens the control panel (a GUI window). You can set the script to run at startup if you'd like. ![]() If you add or remove audio devices, or show/hide disabled items, the number will change. Could there be a conflict between the Alienware keyboard software and the Sequencer. This new computer the Alienware Area-51m R2 is the only computer that has this issue. I do not believe that it is a hardware issue because I bought a new laptop less than one month ago and this problem does not happen on my old laptop (Lenovo P51 laptop). I tried everything! At this point I have spent so much time on this it would have been cheaper to just buy a new keyboard and hope that the issue does not persist. I tried disabling USB ports that go to sleep when not being used. I tried uninstalling the drivers and also updating the drivers under Device Manager. I tried using the HP support assistant software. I tried repairing Omen Command Center software. I tried unistalling Omen Command Center Software. I tried different ports on the laptop/docking stations. I like this keyboard and do not want to have to buy another $100 keyboard brand because of this problem. Please help! I spent two hours on the phone with Dell to see if it was an issue with the Alienware software but they say that it is not. After unplugging and then reconnecting the keyboard then everything works fine. HP Omen Sequencer Keyboard macros, media controls, and OCC button do not work when I turn my computer on. ![]()
